The DC Big Flea is the largest and best antiques and collectibles show in the Metropolitan Washington DC area is the granddaddy
of them all. This antique and collectibles flea market is held at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia and features
two buildings and more than 1100 booths. It is efficiently and professionally run by D’Amore Promotions of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will find that The DC Big Flea Market is conveniently located with plenty of free parking with shuttles to and from both buildings
in addition to food courts, clean restrooms and friendly staff. If you cannot find what you are looking for at this antique
and collectible flea market, you will not find it anywhere. The scheduled dates for 2008 are: January 12 & 13, March
1 & 2, July 19 & 20, September 20-21 and November 1 & 2
The Lucketts Spring Antique Market, Leesburg, VA
The Lucketts Spring Antique Market in Loudoun County Virginia is scheduled for Saturday & Sunday, May 17 & 18, 2008. The 5th Annual Manassas Antique Fair will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008. Last year’s fair was a huge success with beautiful
weather, great antiques and collectibles vendors and hundreds of people. The Manassas Antique Fair, just outside of Washington,D.C. is held at the Loy Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas, Virginia and is professionally run by the Woman’s Club of Manassas and
benefits their scholarship fund. Buying antiques and collectibles is always much better when more than one person benefits.
The Lucketts Fair, Leesburg, VA
Another great event in the picturesque hamlet of Lucketts, Virginia, just north of Leesburg, is the annual Lucketts Fair which will
be held on Saturday & Sunday, August 23 & 24, 2008. The Lucketts Fair features great family entertainment with rides
and arts and crafts for the kids and an antiques and collectibles corridor for the adults. It attracts many great vendors and
thousands of people from the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area as well as those from western Maryland and West Virginia. TheLucketts Fair also features plenty of parking, delicious food and great live music.
The Reston Market, Herndon, Virginia
The Reston Market has a very beautiful venue and is open every Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm, from May to November. This
year The Reston Market is scheduled to officially open on May 3, 2008. Situated at Lake Anne Plaza in Reston, Virginia, just
outside the Washington, D.C. beltway, this market features antiques and collectibles dealers, arts and crafts vendors as well as a
farmer's market. In addition, The Reston Market is surrounded by many unique boutiques, stores and charming eateries. This
market is a great place to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon and the market offers plenty of free parking.

The Manassas Fall Jubilee will be held on October 4, 2008 in historic and picturesque Old Town Manassas. This is a family oriented
event that features live music and performances as well as many other attractions. Among the attractions, the Woman’s Club of
Manassas features a Fall Antique Flea Market in the Loy Harris Pavilion in the heart of Old Town. The Fall Antiques Flea Market features
eclectic vendors featuring great merchandise at reasonable prices and they sell with a friendly atmosphere. This is a great
venue serving the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area with something to do for the entire family and the Fall Antiques Flea Market benefits
the Woman’s Club of Manassas scholarship fund.
Edison High School Flea Market, Alexandria, Virginia
The Edison Academy Flea Market in Alexandria, Virginia is another flea market for a good cause. This flea market is held on
the second Saturday of each month starting in April and ending in October. The Edison Academy Flea Market is held in the front
parking lot of the school and benefits some of the high school programs.
Springfield-Franconia Lions Club Flea Market, Springfield, VA
Another good flea market for a great cause is the Springfield-Franconia Lions Club Flea Market in Springfield, Virginia. This
market, which is just 20 minutes south of Washington, DC, off of the beltway, is held twice a month. The Lions Club Flea Market features
some reasonably priced antiques and collectibles for those trying their hand at designing on a dime. There is plenty of free
parking and the market is surrounded by eateries and shops. It is great way to spend a Saturday morning without the hustle and
bustle of the big city.
Civitan Club of Arlington Flea Market, Arlington, Virginia
The Civitan Club of Arlington Flea Market is more of large garage or yard sale. You will find a very eclectic mix of merchandise
at this market that includes antiques, collectibles, new merchandise, jewelry, children’s items as well as people’s junk. TheCivitan Club of Arlington Flea Market has more than 150 spaces, unfortunately attendance in the past few years has dropped due to
the quality of the merchandise and the stringent rules applied by the Civitan Club and the County. It is held the first Saturday
of the month starting in April and running through November and if you look carefully, you may still find a bargain.

Park's Flea Market, Bealeton,Virginia
Parks Flea Market in Bealeton, Virginia is held every weekend in the old roller skating rink. It is open on Fridays from 3-9
and Saturdays & Sundays from 8 AM to 5 PM. Parks Flea Market has an eclectic mix of merchandise, from antiques and collectibles
to home décor and jewelry items. In addition, they hold an auction every Friday night. Being an indoor flea market allows
them to be open year round for your shopping convenience. Parks Flea Market is conveniently on Bealeton Road, (Route 17) just
south of Warrenton, Virginia. On our last visit, we found that the prices were reasonable and vendors and staff were very down
home friendly. Parks Flea Market also has plenty of parking and a food bar.

Another new and very successful show, The Fredericksburg Big Flea Market, has sprung up in the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia
Metropolitan area and it not surprisingly is run by D’Amore Promotions of DC Big Flea Market fame. For the past two years, this
show has drawn a waiting list of vendors and thousands of satisfied customers. The Fredericksburg Big Flea Market is held at
the Fredericksburg Expo and Convention Center at Central Park in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The show will be held on February
2 & 3, 2008 and promises to be even bigger and better than last year.
The Aldie Antiques Market will make its debut on Saturday, April 12, 2008. This market will be sponsored by Bella Villa Home
Furnishings located at 39317 John Mosby Hwy (Route 50) Aldie, Virginia. They have selected a wonderful weekend to begin their
flea market as there will be a wine tasting in the area in addition to the historic Aldie Mill opening for the season on the same
date. The Aldie Antiques Market is scheduled to be open on the second Saturday of each month. We will update this review

The Boy Scout Troop 980 27th Annual Flea Market will be held this year on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Boy Scout Troop 980, from
Alexandria, Virginia, will hold their annual flea market at the Backlick Road VRE Station in Springfield, Virginia. The Boy Scout Flea Market obviously benefits a good cause and we usually find many vendors here at this market with reasonable prices
and a friendly demeanor. The market is conveniently located just 20 minutes outside of Washington, D.C.
